The NTSN has been established to promote the better management of spinal surgery and spinal pathways by creating and supporting a regional network of hub centres and partner providers. This will support improved quality of care for patients and equity of access to spinal services using data collection to enable evaluation of practice effectiveness and progression to elective surgery only taking place following MDT review.
