The North Thames Spinal Network has been established to promote the better management of spinal services including surgery and spinal pathways within our area.
Spinal services are made up of neurosurgical and orthopaedic specialties. The North Thames Spinal Network includes of the two biggest Trusts in both of these specialties, The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queen Square, the UKs largest dedicated neurological and neurosurgical hospital and The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, the largest orthopaedic hospital in the UK.
In addition, we have Great Ormond Street Hospital, the largest children's hospital in the UK, UCLH and Imperial and others amongst the best hospitals in the world as well as some outstanding District General Hospitals, including Luton and Dunstable Hospital.
